One must be careful when adding "stuff" to the bird. First off, it will cut your flight time down. How much? Don't know, but you will find out.
Adding mass will place more current needs on the esc's, battery and motors.
The bird PID values are "tuned" with the motors, ESC's, props, and the weight of the actual bird.
It probably won't hurt for the short term, but the bird will have shorter flight times, and may behave "not as you have felt" with the GP mounted...
Like above poster typed: You already have a good camera on the bird. Besides, no wide angle distortion/bent horizons....
