4K/60, Let it process.

Around 2:14 the Goose does a dangerous flight manuever.  Not sure if it was trying to hit it or showing off.  Slowed down a bit just prior to the Goose coming into view.

2 comes before 1, decided to add another.

Ducks are very territorial, they also rape more than any animal. I would be in fear for your drone for both reasons

They scatter in fear of the RC electric boats though.  Also when I walk by them.  I was going to fly lower to them but was worried they would all take off and the drone would hit one of them.

I think it was just showing off lol but I think I cut speed by at least 5 mph.

From what I've seen in your videos you are really learning fast and getting confident with the DJI FPV.  Keep it up.  Have a fantastic day.

I cannot stop laughing at your completely frank but true assessment of ducks.  A drake will kill a chicken with his antics.

Pretty sure that is the equivalent of a shot across the bow in bird speak.

It's because they've designed it so good.  It does a great job at keeping it's altitude, speed, and heading.  It basically does everything for you and you just tell it where to go instead of trying to fly it to make it go where you want it to go.  It's all in Sport mode. : )

So the duck was indeed trying to body slam into it?

Mallard Drakes are or can be overly aggressive.  I have also had other birds swoop at my drone at around 350', out of nowhere in my mind, but I take the hint and move along taking some evasive turns in hopes of not being hit or downed. Here is a good article on mallard drakes.  https://askanaturalist.com/why-a ... ale/comment-page-1/
Not sure if you noticed the two mallards in the OP video, I would bet that both of them made a move on the drone but only one was caught on camera.

Great video Damn Birds -  just a word of wisdom - if you have a problem or have to land in that Marsh it will bury itself in muck and be gone!

Stay Safe - Mike

Well, if you can soft land, it might not completely go under.
Years back, sold my first "big" camera carrying drone, a Blade 350QX, to a friend that lost it on the intercoastal in NC to the wind.  I laughed as he told me how he got two boogie boards to traverse the marsh on his knees and belly to inch worm his way out to get it back and how he was absolutely covered in marsh mud by the time he got back to solid ground.
The 350QX actually survived and flew without issue until he sold it to get a Mavic Air.
