Disclaimer again: This is a really long video, not aimed at short entertainment but trying to answer the questions of a few of you of how I get on and how I like the DJI FPV drone.
Still love it - still scary but a bit less so. The worst part is: I need a spotter. Not finding one kept me on the ground for three days.
Been flying for 14 days now (not every one of them), using M-mode, the last times without angle restriction. Works well as long as you wear the goggles (and have a spotter). S-mode works with an iPad as well but is far less fun.

You can start very slowly in normal mode (because of the goggles it's even easier than flying a Mavic, switch to sport mode, which is easy but a lot quicker. Then switch to M mode with altitude leveling or whatever they call it. Before that use a simulator like Velocidrone (DJI's own offering looks good but works badly) for 20 $ with the DJI remote. Unless you fly very close to things it's really not that dangerous. Hard to fly smoothly but that'll just take practice.

Took a look at it on the phone. Will have to watch and compare at home. Might be a good idea to put the WB to manual and the exposure/framerate as well. Will have to experiment a bit more...
