Lost Connection - Flight Logs

I was flying my Mini 2 this morning when I lost connection between the controller and the drone for about 10-20 seconds. I had received a warning a few minutes before about interference and redirected the drone to try to avoid it. During the loss of connection my phone's screen had gone blank, then returned to the normal camera view and I was able to continue my flight.
Later when I checked the flight logs for any more information about the disconnection, I noticed the app had recorded the flight as two flights, ending and starting around the time of the loss.

I have two questions:

Is that kind of log recording normal? I'm sure I've has interference before but don't remember logs being split like that.

And why didn't the drone automatically Return To Home when the signal was lost, does the connection need to be lost for some time before it activates?

1. I don't know. But since the log is recorded to the phone/tablet, I would think it might start a new file when it faults.

2. It starts the RTH action after "more than 11 seconds" according to the manual. That could fall into your time frames.

I uploaded the flight logs to PhantomHelp. Maybe I'm just not used to the site but it doesn't look like it's showing anything useful, so I've uploaded the logs to AirData too.

I merged your 2 flights into 1.

At 15m7s in flight connection lost for 7 seconds, so no RTH, RTH is initiated after 11 seconds.
Screen going blank is something else, cable of a non compatible phone to the flyapp.

Not always is a flight split in 2 or more seperate flights when disconnected Drone<>RC, have to think about this....why in your short disconnection this happend.

Sometimes when the screen goes blank or black etc, pilots gets confused, better wait 12 seconds....do not press RTH on the RC, as mayby you will cancel the RTH in progress!

Hello there Throcken. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Can you please fly your DJI Mini 2  to a different location to see if the issue will still persist? The said DJI drone might have picked up magnetic interference from the area. That might be the reason why you are experiencing these issues. In addition, I will post a diagram on how to get optimal transmission for your DJI Mini 2. Thank you.
