Still getting the hang of editing (let alone flying this bird!). I wanted to capture some footage of the half-dozen or so historic bridges in my neck of the woods. Many of them are single-lane and tucked into the backroads of Elgin county.

Great shots indeed and good editing. No problems flying trough the steel bridge with the drone?

Thanks for your feedback. That is important to know for me, as I am a beginner and soak up any info I can to learn before the real test of lying and filming.

Every new flight is anxiety-ridden, ha. I flew it under the bridge as well, no problem! Any time I'm over water, that fear is there, but I think as our familiarity with the drone increases, that anxiety should dissipate.

Did you set RTH to Hover? If not you were lucky, a loss of signal and it may have risen straight up into the steelwork.

Yep - I thought there might be some, but I also now realize that I was really underestimating the potential interference.  I'll make a tweak to the RTH setting for any future flights through steel structures.
