It does seem to be an incremental upgrade,  Im more interested to see if the Fly App 1.4.1 will bring the Mini 2 any new features.

That would be nice.    I just did a 24 image merge from the Mini 2 and it came out great,  have you seen it yet?

Seems Best Buy has had them in stock for a few days now.  The local Best Buy store here has 3 but they said they are not allowed to display or sell them before April 15th.

Nice incremental upgrade.  However, I'm holding out for the DJI Pro 3 (if they ever release one).  

Seems the flight time has been reduced but transmission range was increased noticeably. Interesting approach.

CE Transmission has actually gone up from 6km to 8km.

Yeah, which is interesting because usually a transmission range increase would be better paired if flight time would be increased to maximize that increased range, but it is 3 mins less than the air2. Bit unexpected but if it could fly faster may be worth it.

Someone said it would come with occupying 3.0. But if the remote is RC231, how can it be Occusync 3.0 ? This is the same controller as MA2

So far Ive seen no mention of OC3.  I think some people assumed it would have it because of the FPV drone.

So I assume that the upper angled sensors are for forward flight only? If he mentioned them I missed it. I guess I'll have to wait  and see what the manual says.

Nobody knows but I think its for upward in noemal and tripod mode and forward in sport mode. So APAS andin upward and in sport mode. And somwthing I noticed is that top swnzors are very big and different from the front

This is the 2nd time DJI has pulled this now.  1st with Mini to Mini 2 in only 8 months and now Air 2 to Air 2S in 11-12 months.

it wouldnt be a problem if the past drones would receive new feature upgrades,but it's not the case , Mini 2 starts to be forgotten on new features , i am talking about software upgrade ones,like Hyperlapse,slow motion,follow me,waypoints and other features which are perfectly possible to add over Mini 2 , they just DO NOT CARE FOR ADD THEM

Except,  the people that bought those drones did so knowing the features they were advertised with,  there was nothing that promised future upgrades.   It seems very much like the camera world,  top end cameras get updated every 3-5 years but the prosumer models often get a yearly refresh.  The top end drones dont get as updated as frequently and the lowest price drone.
