I have a Zenmuse XT2 that works really well with my M210RTK V1, but once installed on my new M210RTK V2, dji pilot is asking telling me :
"Zenmuse XT2 camera firmware to low, Please update to the latest firmware."
And I can't use any thermal function on DJI Pilot
So I did, with the Zenmuse XT2 Firmware V01.00.03.50, using an SD card, but I never got any beeping, so I checked the log message and it's saying this :

You just need to contact the support, they will send you an old firmware and a way to force it's installation. Once it's done, you will need to update as usual

I have noticed that the firmware seems to be out of sync which is probably the issue.
On M200 v1 the XT2 is working fine, but on v2 is making the xt2 un-usable.

Notice that Gimbal and Camera 1 & 2 Firmware are not upto date, although the latest firmware pack has been applied and attempting update with latest firmware () shows as OP reported in update log

Update:Support were not very helpful with this but I have figured it out..
Within the firmware pack there are firmwares for camera 1 and camera 2 on the XT2.
It seems as though Camera 2 is not used on a M200 / M210 v1, and so if the firmware is applied whilst attached to a v1, camera 2 is not upgraded.
SymptomsThis will work fine on a v1, but once attached to a v2 you not be able to use the XT2, non of the menu functions will work.You will see a notification in DJI Pilot: "Zenmuse XT2 camera firmware to low, Please update to the latest firmware."
If you try to upgrade the firmware that is already applied, the upgrade log will tell you it is already up to date.
Goto About in DJI Pilot and you will see all firmware versions DO NOT MATCH match those listed in release notes.
Solution The answer is to attach the XT2 to a v2 and force a firmware upgrade to the latest version.
Support will tell you there is no way to do this, however there is!
Download the lates firmware AND release notes from:
Copy the latest firmware bin file to the root of your sd card.
Create a new file using notepad named 'ZENMUSE_XT2_FW_DEBUG'.
Ensure this file does not have an extension, eg txt, bin etc
The file should be empty (no contents)
Insert the sd card into slot 1 of the XT2 (furthest away from the lens).
Power on the M200 /M210 v2
The presence of the DEBUG file will force the XT2 to reapply the firmware
The upgrade takes approximately 5 minutes.
You will notice a series of beeps.
Also take note of the led flashing within the sd card slot on the XT2
Be patient, upgrade takes a few minutes!
During upgrade you should hear 3 different types of beep to notify the progress of the update:
Beep
Description
DDDDDD-DDDDDD...
bin file detected, update ready to start (WAIT)
D-- D-- D-- D--....
Upgrade in progress. LED will flash blue. (WAIT)
D-DD--- D-DD---...
Upgrade complete. LED will flash green. (Power off M210)
See the DJI video guide here:
Power off the drone, remove the sd card and opn on your PC
Look for the file: XT2_UPGRADE_LOG.txt
This will have details of the upgrade.
Look for the following text:

Move or delete all files from the sd card
Place sd card back into XT2 slot 1
Power up the drone
Connect the controller
Goto About in DJI Pilot and you will see all firmware versions will match those listed in release notes.
For Firmware: v01.00.03.50 / 2020.05.08
You should see:
Gimbal: v00.02.06.48
Znemuse XT Camera 1: v01.00.00.34
Znemuse XT Camera 12 v06.02.20.00
All menu functions should now work as expected!
Ensure you test gimbal movement. If Gimbal is unresponsive, do the following:
Goto Gimbal settings at use the following options in order:
Recenter Gimbal Pan
Gimbal Calibration
Reset Gimbal Parameters
Gimbal should now be resonsive and XT2 should be fully working!

I have just received a brand new XT2 from FLIR which came out of the box with old / mismatched firmware and required the above fix in order to function on the M210 v2.

Olá meu nome é alexandro e queria saber se você pode me ajudar, comprei uma cam XT2 25mm aqui para meu drone M210 v1 RTK, e tive os problemas que você corrigiu nas atualizações, então fiz os procedimentos aqui e deu certo deu errado meu piloto deve ter feito algo errado e a camera agora nao passa imagem e nao me da acesso a camera como se nao estivesse no gimbal, mas quando ligo a aeronave ela faz os procedimentos mas o imagem não aparece como se não tivesse mais as configurações da câmera. Ajude-me.?

My Matrice 210 V2 never stopped making noise during the update, I got distracted out in the shop and kind of forgot about it and came back and found it had ran out of battery. Before the update it would black screen but I could still swing the gimbal, now it doesn’t even recognize it’s connected. In pilot it just shows the drone, no payload. Gimbal settings are empty. Not really any direction from the company on what to do now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys

I know this was long ago but do you remember how to force the older firmware installation for your XT2?
