I have recently enquired about auto discharging feature on Mini 2 Intelligent flight batteries. I was advised by a member of DJI of team that this was due to leaving batteries in the hub. I have since ensured my batteries are on the lates firmware and tested them stored separately. They only auto discharge to 96% after a day. After this they remain at this level. According to the manual the safe storage capacity is at 72% and the ideal batteries should discharge automatically to this level within 5 days. This doesn't happen. It is clearly a faulty design. DJI need to act and users deserve to know this.

That is auto discharge after 24 hours . It discharges to 94% to avoid bloating, after a few days it will discharge to 49/60% I find if I don’t use within 24hours after charging to pop batteries back on charger for a few minutes to freshly top them up before using them, otherwise you will be starting with 94%

It should discharge to 72% within 5 days. This is not happening.

I have made a video like the one above a couple of weeks back. https://youtu.be/aNVH-psI7rU
That was when I believed the advice so received from DJI team on this forum. It turned out to be bogus as the betteties never discharge lower then 96 percent even if you keep them disconnected and separate from the hub or drone. This is a major issue.

Yep,  Its a well known bug,   I guess we are waiting for an update or the 18650 cells in our batteries are not an issue like the lipos in the better drones.
