Hi guys, the clumsy idiot I am, I dropped my battery from a meter and of course it found out the perfect angle to fall on and break two plastic separators in the port. Here is how it looks like:

Of course I immediatelly tested if it works and it does, no problem. Drone flies normally and also battery charges normally. My questions are:
1. Do you guys think this could be potentially problematic for usage?
2. Do you think this damage is possible to repair (By specialist in dron repair shop)

Thanks!

Hi,
You can simply try to glue the piece back together with epoxy glue. Or make a new one with a 3D printer, by cutting a piece of plastic... This way you prevent a potential contact between the two points. If the piece of plastic comes off when you insert it, you won't be able to insert your battery properly.
But more generally, a shocked lipo battery can be potentially dangerous. When recharging, you have to take precautions to avoid a fire. As for flying the Mavic with it, I can't give you a formal opinion. Personally, if the shock was not too big, I would do a charge cycle while watching that everything is going well. If so, then I will do a small test flight in a secure area.
Up to you ! You can also send it to DJI for repair, but since it is out of warranty, it will be probably cheaper and safer to buy a new one.

Hi Jordane, thank you for your reply. The shock was minimal, just really precisely unfortunate. I tried charging and flying with it. I even went on a normal exploitation with it and there was no problem, so I guess i will be really cautions with those exposed pins and always watch out how I put the battery in the slot.
