Just had a "hoereyy" moment after I fixed my "broken" gimbal. In fact it WAS broken, one of the arms anyway.
Ran to my nearest department store to get the toughest superglue I could fined (gorilla glue it is....). Glued the arm and bracket back together and whallah, solid as can be again. Powered on and mehh.....shaking/rattling gimbal motor and shaking video feed. I though my god what an expensive repair this will be.
Turns out, a clip from one of the motor ribbon cables came loose (probably when it crashed). I discovered that AFTER I removed the whole gimbal.
Clicked it back in (it didn't really feel loose but I pressed it tighter anyway cuz it seemed a bit skewed) and turned on the drone. Oehwee stable A F I now have 2 good 100% working drones. I think I'll sell both and buy a used Mavic Air 2.
Hello there doglaboi. Thank you for reaching out and for these information on how you have fixed your DJI Mavic Mini. If you feel that on your future flights of your DJI Mavic Mini that the said drone is not responding or not working properly. I would recommend to contact our DJI support team at https://www.dji.com/support for further assistance and for us to be able to check the said drone thoroughly. Again, thank you and fly safe always.
Nope, I had my mini for 2 weeks already and there is a way to buy and activate Care Refresh and it involves a few steps like showing an un-edited video etc. All the steps are outlined if you visit the Care Refresh page. If we can't do that anymore then DJI has just updated their policy.
