Is it safe to install an AirTag on DJI Mavic Air 2/2S?  Will AirTag cause interference, limit the range or even crash the drone?
Will AirTag help drone pilots find the lost drone easily ?

I hope that you will get the best recommendation from our fellow DJI co pilots who have used / purchased the said accessory for the said DJI Drones. Just a reminder that DJI does not recommend you to your 3rd party accessories on your DJI Drones. These 3rd party accessories might affect the said DJI drone when in use. There is a possibility that these 3rd party accessories will be able work. However, since it's not tested by DJI we cannot guaranteed the stability of the said 3rd party accessory if it will work all the time with no issues and might void the warranty of the said DJI product. DJI Care refresh is essentially an accidental damage insurance policy - loss is not covered. The warranty covers manufacturer defects for one-year from the date of activation so if you are totally blameless for the loss (subject to the flight records) DJI should replace the drone.
In order to use Flyaway Coverage for the lost drone, users must have bound their DJI account and remote controller with their aircraft using the DJI Fly app. If this binding operation has not been completed prior to experiencing a flyaway incident, Flyaway Coverage cannot be used.

No matter how experienced a pilot you are, when you own a drone, you must face the fact that a crash is going to happen. Sometimes it's your fault; sometimes it's due to conditions beyond your control. Either way, your beloved drone will crash at some point in time. So, you should know what should you do when it does. DJI Care Refresh and Flyaways coverage would be the options.

Those tags are continually transmitting Bluetooth, which is on the same frequency band as the aircraft's control signals. Best not to put in on the aircraft. The best device for finding a lost aircraft, IMO, is the Marco Polo.

It's not entirely accurate to say that an Airtag is continuously transmitting. This would kill its small battery very quickly. Airtags will respond to any modern, nearby iPhone and the iPhone can often determine the distance and heading of the tag relative to the phones GPS location..
Airtags use ultra-wideband communications. Its related to Bluetooth but it's more a hybrid of Wifi. This technology provides better distance and heading information then just bluetooth would.
