Nothing new in that video, just in case someone wants to do this you can put the drone on the ground, pull both sticks down and in to start the motors, push up on the throttle and away you go......I would not fly without my phone connected !

I’m sorry, but I’m not sure this is a brilliant find. Looks silly to me.

I discovered the self-launch feature accidentally while holding my Mini by the bottom with the motors running. It was a bit of a surprise.

Another bit of advice - sun in front of you, not behind.
