So this is my first attempt at taking long exposure shots.  Not bad but not great.  I think I could have chosen better scenery.  If anyone has any advice I am all ears.

Impressive shots Frank.    Maybe different scenery  will yield a greatly enhanced product.  Just my opinion.

I would try something with more lighting on the ground.
It is quite hard to capture anything interesting when there is little lighting on the ground.
It's not a camera on a tripod that you can keep open for 30s without motion blur / noise

Great advice - I am looking at the weather and I have a few still days coming up.  I am also house/dog sitting for an old friend in a great area.   If anything turns out I will post it.
