Hi,

I have seen several threads on the subject of the app. crashing but mostly when flying.

I am running android 11 on Hauwei P30 pro and up to now, it's been sweet.  I have the latest firmware for the Mavic Air 2 running both RC and aircraft.

I recorded 3 small flights recently and have downloaded them from the SD card to the mac with no issues.  When I open the DJI Fly app on the mobile, the front screen opens no problem and it appears that I can fly the Mavic as well.  When I hit the Album tab, it shows my clips for a split second then crashes and shuts down, reverting to my phones home screen.


I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I have cleared the caches also, with no joy, any ideas would be great.

Which app version?
If it's 1.42 just downgrade to 1.40
Or u just seen that new one is come out 1.44

Thanks for a quick reply. I am running 1.4.2, just trying to find where I can down grade the app, not sure where I would find that?
I cant see any detas on a new 1.44 version either.

You may download the APK file using the link below for your android device. Copy and paste the URL on the browser of your mobile device then download the apk, once you already download the APK file, please go to the download section on the browser on your mobile device then open the file then the APK will automatically install on your mobile device. Great I'll take a look now.

Ok, i have tried the official dji route with the same result, it crashes, but that is just downloading what I already have 1.4.2. I then deleted and downloaded the hauwei route (1.4.4), and the same thing again. Everything works other than trying to open the album. It could be one of the clips is corrupt and crashing the app, but I've no way of deleting them because it doesn't stay open long enough.

Ok, sorted.
I thought I would knock my P30 pro back to android10. I downloaded the Hauwei HiSuite on the mac and backed up the phone before i started to down grade. I then checked the app and the two clips were deleted and its all good.

Hi there. We're glad that you already manage to isolate the issue that you had experience. Thank you for your valued support!

I had issues with DJI Fly 1.4.8 so if anyone has similar issues too like black screens and crashes I suggest you downgrade to 1.4.4!
