We are excited about the M300 RTK with the P1 and L1 payloads, however, we are concerned with the requirement to re-calibrate the IMU every 100 seconds of flying time or 1,000m (which is the same if flying at the recommend 10m/s) during the mission.
Would someone from DJI or another expert please clarify this issue as no other drone in the DJI inventory nor any of their competitors requires this?
Further, if true, is this calibration done automatically during the flight, or do we have to pause the mission every 90-100 seconds or so to manually and perform the figure eight calibration.
This could be a deal-breaker for the selection of our next drone. It would be a tremendous shame to have to move away from DJI for photogrammetry and lidar missions.
