This evening I tried a manual hyperlapse on the DJI Mini 2. (regular video recording, since the M2 does not have a hyperlapse function) Moving sideways at a 'steady' pace of about 1.8m/s. There was quite a bit of wind and maybe that ruined the 'steady' direction I wanted to get (I only corrected the changed direction once, slowly.....) After speeding up the footage to about 1400% and adding stabilization in Davinci Resolve, this is how it turned out.

Hello there Montfrooij. Good day and thank you for sharing this manual hyperlapse video you have created. Nicely done and have a nice day. .

I dont really expect them to add features after launch but things it comes with should work properly.
Yeah, I will have to live without D Cinelike.
Which is a shame, considering the vast improvement that makes on your footage.
I was a bit underwhelmed by the P2 footage when I first used it.
That was until I switched to Cinelike.
Wow.

Have seen an P2 footage from you for a while, are you bored with it all ready?

It is as with many camera's I have.
It takes a lot of (free) time to take it out somewhere and make a shot.
But that is ok, I like to have the option of making stabilized footage or motion hyperlapses whenever I can. I bought it for the holidays mainly.

Not long to the holidays now, I hope you cases aren't rocketing like ours are here. 32'000 yesterday.

If you'd waited a week or two you could have it in white.

Indeed.
It is very tensive.
They are rocketing indeed.
Crazy numbers already.
So that might spoil it for us as it is likely to get extra measures against 'us' when travelling.

I have a feeling we will be banned too soon....
Hope it will take more than 2 weeks, but I doubt it.
Crazy government choices.
As long as they dont change the rules when youre out there.
Just did my weekly covid test and Im negative. . But we think the house opposite has it, ambulances were there the other day in full breathing suits. sort of thing you would greet aliens in. And we keep hearing caughing, but its not stopping the mother going out.
DAFlys Posted at 7-8 23:14
We had them change the rules here a couple of times when people were abroad and they ended up rushing to get home or they had to quarantine on return.
Yeah, that is a possibility indeed.
Right now Sweden is still looking good (only a matter of time), so I more worried about getting there.

Good to hear.
Yeah, this Delta thing is really kicking in.

In the longer run yes.
Or the next one after that.
I was going for a morning walk just yet and thought about how it took us generations to get our system well equipped for fighting the flu.
We are trying to squeeze that into 2 years now.
With a virus that is just getting warmed up.
Man.
I did not want to continue that train of thoughts.

We have detected cases of lambda in the UK already, not many but its enough to seed it.
