Hi,

I have a Phantom 2 (non-vision/v2) and I've just upgraded the firmware on the Phantom and the controller.
Previously my controller had a solid red LED but since the firmware upgrade, it's now green and makes 3 short beeps when turned on.
I can't find any issues with the controller.

Is this normal with the latest firmware?

Re-Calibrating the RC may be helpful~

I have the same question, and have recalibrated the RC but it still shows a green led and makes 3 short beeps when switched on. Is this normal, or should it not happen?

Yeah, thats normal. With the newest firmware you'll have a green LED with 3 beeps after power up. The controller will now also beep when batteries are running low beep...beep...beep...

You should not take off before changing the batteries then.
