Every time Pocket 2 records something over 4 GB or so, it splits it into clips. At the end of each clip, there is no audio for a moment, which results into audio "skip" whenever I'm merging these clips, because there's essentially silence for a few tens of a second.

I had a similar issue but instead of sound cutting, there was a notable "jump" in the video between the clips. When I asked about it from DJI, they advised me to get MP4Tools ( https://www.mp4joiner.org/en/ ) for merging the clips. After using it, the problem was solved. Could this possibly help you too?

No, it won't. There's an actual cut in the audio. I've uploaded it to different programs and it's all the same. I can get around it, but it takes time and of course the sound has to overlap and stretch etc...

Sorry to hear that is no help. :-( Could somebody at DJI support help you with the issue?

Using an external voice recorder could help, but I do understand that the extra hassle with synchronizing the external audio with video isn't that tempting...
