The M2P manual states that "The Vision System is only effective when the aircraft is at an altitude of .5 to 50 meters" Later it states that "the vision system may be affected if the aircrafts altitude is above 33 feet (11 meters)". I have to video a scene in a fairly limited indoor space with a tiled floor (different colored tiles so fairlty texted) and would like to fly up to 50 feet (15 meters). Obviously no GPS signal. Do you think the vision system will provide lat/long stability and what surprises might I expect to see please?

Instead of wondering, do some test flying to find out.

In case you are being sarcastic, it's very helpful advice.
There are so many variables, you cannot be sure that "helpful advice" is going to predict exactly the issues at your particular site.
You don't want to find out the hard way, in front of your client, that there are real problems.
So do some testing in advance to find out what you are up against and be prepared.

I think what Labroides is saying is that the documentation is not the best, so experiment for yourself. Sad but true it is ;-)

Hello there Ralphhuttonthompson. Thank you for reaching out and for these information you have posted. DJI do not recommend flying your DJI Mavic 2 Pro indoors as the environment indoors may have interference and caused an incident and also during low light condition as the vision sensors may not work properly. DJI suggest to choose an outdoor open area where the GPS is good, no magnetic interference, to fly the drone and check if all the functions are normal. Thank you.
