Video transmission stopped mid flight

I had a strange experience on Saturday 24/07 with my Air 2S. I lost the video transmission mid flight. But drone was well under control and signal strength was great. I brought it back and landed safely. Once restarted the drone everything was fine and I accomplish my task without any issues.

Did anyone here experienced a similar issue ? If you did please share your experience. I didn't open a ticket with DJI as this is the first time this has happned.

Try restart the app next time. If it fixed the problem then revert your application back to 1.4.4 or 1.4.2

I did restart the app but it didn't work. It was working fine with the same app before.

With a Smart Controller???

No, the standard one came with the drone

I had the same situation yesterday. Drone was pretty close so it was easy to fly manually back. I tried to restart software etc... I also tested "fly home -function" and it worked just fine. I got video back after drone restart.

May we know what is the model of the mobile device you are using please and can you please try to fly your DJI Air 2S to a different location or in an open area with less interference and please stay within the line of sight to isolate the issue. The said DJI drone might have picked up magnetic interference from the area. That might be the reason why you are experiencing these issues. In addition I will post a diagram on how to get optimal transmission for your DJI Air  2S. Thank you.

I use iPhone 12 with my drone. Drone was flying fine. Only the video transmission got cut off.
After restarting the drone it was flying as usual without any issues.
This is nothing to do with magnetic interference or distance issue as per the log.

I'm curious as to which version of the DJI Fly App you are using.  I had a similar video transmission issue while using V1.4.8 and went back to V1.4.4 and issue never occurred again.

I have 1.4.8 installed currently. But never happened before. Only once and then it went all fine after restarting the drone.

Also here...Huawei P30 Pro and also SC...App restarted by itself...drone controllable, video feed 0...black screen until app restarted... VER 1.4.8., last A2S FW (except the yesterday one, no guts to install it after so many failures of DJI related to FW and APP).

The answer to your problem is dji fly app v1.4.4

There is nothing unusual about that situation, all DJI aircraft use two separate raadio communication channels, it is quite normal for one to be lost from time to time but not the other.

This has happened to me but only when recording video at 60fps.  Latest (problematic) firmware.  I also had a mid-flight freeze once without recording video.  It was only about 40 feet away from me.

Yes, you are correct but it always worked when the drone comes closer. In this incident I have to land the drone and restart it.
