Yesterday i received my DJI mini 2 and i was very excited to fly with it today. (yesterday i couldnt because of bad weather).
After i did all the updated and callibrations i finally could fly.
It was all working fine, till at like 40% of my battery and my screen went black.
I could still see all the drone parameters but the camera was not giving any screen (i could still tilt the gimbal).
When i capture a photo, then this photo was also black.

I found it confusing and i tried to do some research to see if other people experienced the same but i couldn't receive any information about it.
After that i thought: "Maybe if i charge it one more to 100% it will work again, just a first-fly glitch".

But at my second flight the camera went frozen and eventually black at like 90% of the battery while still all the drone parameters were working.

Is there still something i can do to fix this problem, or is this a hardware issue?

Hello there Sybren. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. May we know what is the model of the mobile device you are using please? Can you also please try to uninstall and reinstall the DJI Fly application for us to be able to isolate the said issue? Thank you.

The photo that was black, was that from the SD card or from your phone?

Could be a DJI Fly App issue.  Which mobile device are you using with the Mini 2?

First of all: Thank you guys for your replies!
I've deleted the app and installed the app again as DJI Stephen mentioned.
With this, i have finished my third flight without any issues.
So hopefully this was the fix

I will reply to this topic if i encounter this problem again.

P.S. I use a Google Pixel 3 with android 11.

First of all: Thank you guys for your replies!

Also, turn off ALL background apps. Everything that you can will help. How often do you restart your phone? It's amazing how much this cures.

Use DJI Fly 1.4.4 or older
