A little disappointed with panning results in 24fps and 1/50.  A little better at 30fps and 1/60, but not much.  What settings do people here use for panning.

Hi there. Sorry for the trouble. Can you please confirm what specific issue did you experience when panning? Also, can you please send us a sample for us to check? Hope our fellow DJI members here that currently using the Pocket 2 can provide you the best method on how to perform panning using the said unit. Thank you!

The normal setting is to set the shutter speed to twice the frame rate.  So at 60fps, use 120th second, if there is enough light.  In lower light use 30fps and 60th second.  Of course when you pan, you will see blurring, but correct motion blur is part of the art of making a video.  In general, I would say that panning should normally be used as little as possible, unless following something that is moving across.  Moving towards or away from your subject adds movement while minimising blur, or move sideways rather than turning your body.  If you wish to pan across a wide landscape, then do so as slowly as you can.  Always look for movement in the scene, rather than creating movement by moving the camera.

Great advice.
