If the gimbal vibrates during use, perform the following:

1. The issue where the gimbal vibrates is caused by hardware error.
If it can be found that the gimbal vibrates through visual inspection or holding the grip can feel a great sense of vibration, it can be basically determined that the issue is caused by hardware error. Please make sure that the weight of the mobile phone is within the compatible phone weight mentioned under Specs page on the official DJI website. Besides, you can perform the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1) Using the DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp:
a. Make sure that the magnetic phone clamp is in the middle of the phone.

b. Adjust the phone clamp and make sure it is as vertical like the phone.

c. If using a mobile phone like iPhone 7/8 less than 7.5 mm thick or weight less than 170 g, use the provided riser pad.

d. For mobile phones with rounded corners or if the phone is loose after being attached to the phone clamp, use the provided riser pad.

e. Align the white dot on the phone clamp with the white dot on the gimbal, and make sure that the phone clamp is firmly stuck in the notch of the gimbal.

2) Using the Magnetic Ring Holder:
a. Only attach the magnetic ring holder to phones that are supported by DJI OM 4. Please refer to DJI OM 4 Mobile Phone Compatibility List for more information.

b. Do not attach the magnetic ring holder to a mobile phone case. Please attach the magnetic ring holder directly to the center of the back of the mobile phone.

c. Place the alignment guide on the back of the mobile phone, and adjust the position of the alignment guide to locate the center of the mobile phone to make sure that the magnetic ring holder is attached to the center of the back of the mobile phone.

d. Align the white dot on the magnetic ring holder with the white dot on the gimbal, and make sure that the ring holder is firmly stuck in the notch of the gimbal.

3) Using the Osmo Mobile 3
a. If using a mobile phone like iPhone 7/8 with smaller size and light weight, use the anti-slip pads.

b. For mobile phones with rounded corners or if the phone is loose after being attached to the phone clamp, use the anti-slip pads.

c. After the mobile phone is attached, make sure that the phone holder is in the middle of the phone.

d. Adjust both ends of the phone holder and make sure that the left and right extended parts are symmetrical.

2. The video shakes.
The issue may occur due to mobile phone compatibility issue, app issue, camera zooming error, or
shooting method error. In this case, please troubleshoot the issue as follows:

1)        Please use a phone mentioned in the Mobile Phone Compatibility List
Osmo Mobile 3: https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... _List_en_0526_1.pdf

DJI OM 4: https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... bility_List_en6.pdf

2)        Make sure that version of mobile system, DJI Mimo app, and Osmo Mobile 3/DJI OM 4 firmware is the latest.

3)        Please check whether your phone is jailbroken or flashed, or the test beta version is used. If yes, it is recommended that the official version of software needs to be used.

4)        Please check whether the video recorded by the native camera of your phone shakes. If yes, perform the following:
a. Please install your mobile phone on the gimbal, launch the native camera to record a video at 1x zoom and still state, and then check whether the video shakes.

b. Please install your mobile phone on the gimbal, launch the DJI Mimo app to record a video at 1x zoom and still state, and then check whether the video shakes.

c. If the issue only occurs when using DJI Mimo, there is an app bug. Please collect the phone model, phone system, app version, app vlog, and the abnormal video, then contact DJI Support.

d. When recording a video, please try to keep walking at a constant speed and steadily, instead of ninja walk, and try to avoid particularly dramatic actions.

e. Please adjust the video resolution and framerate in the DJI Mimo app.

f. Please djust or disable the beauty function in the DJI Mimo app.

Hi,

Last year, I have bought dji osmo mobile 3 in India. Now I have got iPhone 12 and I have done balancing properly with mobile case. When i ON gimbal, it's vibrate for 1-2 seconds, then stop vibration. After that, everything works fine without any shaking. And gimbal won't vibrate when i switched OFF my gimbal. But without mobile case, no shaking even at startup and everything works fine.

Should I ignore gimbal shaking with case and continue to use or avoid using with case? What might be reason for shaking at start for 1-2 seconds?

Weight of mobile is 171gms and mobile case is 31gms. Total weight is 202gms. Mobile case is silicon case without magsafe.

Regards
Lokesh
