Hello! I recently bought a Mavic Air 2 and I'm really enjoying flying it!
I also wanted to fly at night, so to keep things legal I needed to put a LED light on top of it (at least here in the EU) so I put this black velcro, after that I noticed that it isn't locking as many GPS sats as it was before (now is about 9 on the ground and 16 in air) will it work just fine, or should I remove the velcro and try to put it in another location (if so, suggest where!)

You'd be better to put it above the battery.  You are then guaranteed to miss the GPS receiver.

I placed my light directly above the battery and have had no GPS issues.


UPDATE:  I see DAFlys said the same in post 2.  

It will not cause any issues with the GPS signal.

Your photo shows where I have mine on all 4 drones. No problems so far day or night.
