Last night I went flying for a while, where I also used the Sport mode, which I normally do not do much.

During the two flights that I made, at a certain point the telemetry of the flight froze (wasn't updated anymore) in the DJI Fly app, while the video images from the drone just kept coming in on my smartphone screen. In short, the app was not frozen. The drone also responded well to the RC.
I tried a few things during the flights, such as disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable (this didn't help) and quitting and restarting the app (this then solved the problem). I had the impression that the problem started occurring when I switched back from Sport mode to Normal.

Does anyone recognize this behaviour and who knows what to do to prevent it or fix it?

Thank you for your response. Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the app?

Yes I did reinstall the app. But I have not been able to try it out in flight yet. So I will have to report back on this issue later.

And, that's likely because the same issues come up time and time and time again.

It is a problem of version 1.4.8, I do not know what to expect to change it, use version 1.4.4 and you will not have problems.

Give this a try. Those of us that have are very pleased.

Yes try 1185, it helps me with mini 2 & air 2s!

I've tested this Fly App version 1.4.8 (1185) in three flights now, switching between the different speed settings several times, and I haven't seen any problems so far.
So my first impression: so far, so good.

After a few weeks of further testing this version 1.4.8 (1185):
I have made several more flights and this app is still working like a charm. I have had no issues whatsoever.

Therefore, I really do not understand why DJI is still sharing the 1.4.8 (1120) version in the Downloads section, knowing that this version has so many flaws.
