DJI (and some other accessory manufacturers too) offer very special car chargers for the different drone batteries. These loaders have surely made some friends ...
But, such a car charger is only suitable for one specific battery type!
In the post ...
   https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=248443
a user describes his bad experience with these chargers.

But then DowntownRDB brings in his personal experiences, and I have also gladly implemented it:
There are very cheap and very universal DC - AC converters that have been specially developed for car batteries and that generate an AC of 110 V or 220 V.
The advantage: The chargers supplied by DJI for "home use" can now be used, and special chargers are no longer required!
There are two (quite different) types of such converters:
1. "Modified sine" converter
2. "Pure sine" converter
While the first generates a kind of "square-wave pulses", the second one really delivers a very good sinusoidal alternating voltage.
Both work very well with the DJI chargers.
The "modified sine" converters cost about half of the "pure sine" converters.
I "examined" the output voltages of these converters with a connected DJI charger, viewed them with an oscilloscope. Everything looks as expected.
In the end I decided on a "pure sine" converter because I wanted to be absolutely sure that it is suitable for all possible cases, even if, for example, you want to connect a device with a real "mains transformer" ...
Of course, such "old" power supplies (as "mains transformer") are rather rare these days, but I was still so impressed by the beautiful sine wave shape that you can hardly go wrong with it!
The "smallest" such DC - AC converters can generate approx. 300 W "mains output". In any case, this is sufficient for the stated purpose. You actually need a maximum of 100 - 150 W ...

Final remark:
Depending on the country in which you live, you have a mains voltage of 110 V or 220 V.
The DJI chargers work universally, i.e. both at 110 V and 220 V!
For this purpose you can always buy a 12 V to 110 V converter without hesitation. The efficiency is then even a little better, because you don't have to generate the higher AC first ...
Nevertheless, you should look carefully that the appropriate AC socket is installed on the converter, otherwise you will need an additional adapter plug!

I have had very good experiences with this one:

DowntownRDB drew your attention to this one:

Maybe that will help one or the other ...
Many greetings

I use this one https://www.amazon.de/gp/product ... 0?ie=UTF8&psc=1
after several other not so good ones - and am very happy even have a second "wall" charger for the car with the hub and never run out of batteries ;)

Hi alex_markov,

I had also tested exactly the one you describe ...

It is a "modified sine" converter, so it delivers a square-wave output voltage. This still works very well with the DJI chargers, but I had "certain" concerns (... see my description above) ...

i have 2 of these and took both on a 7-day road trip me...and never used them; they came back home with 100% charge.  great idea but as long as you have the very occasion access to a wall plug and you have a fair amount of batteries and you're not going to try to fly your drone all day long....just never needed them.  good for backup and emergencies....but next trip, i will only take one.  a single dedicated vpa was more than sufficient.  that has been my experience.
