I don't think that's the motor. I believe that's the ESC. (electronc speed controller)

I think the previous poster may be right.  Not something I ever experienced with my P4.  One the 4 props spin up, does the drone take off and hover correctly, and does it fly true afterwards? Or have you not ventured that far yet?
