Here's another short flight over some of the wilderness around my part of the world.  There is a tree featured around the middle of the video which seems to have had attention from something large with claws.  Could be a porcupine or a black bear, you be the judge.

Beautiful landscape.    If I had to guess on the tree with bark missing I'd have to say bear.  Think the marks go up to high for a porcupine.

The damage to the tree could have been caused by a moose scraping the velvet off its antlers. I think this is the time of year they do it.

Thanks for sharing, I was thinking that a big bear reaching that hi up. Not know the region but if he was rotting it seem to concentrated. My only knowledge is their cousin a muley and white rail You see a lot things when your bird hunting.
