So many tents left behind after people had left the three day festival at the Norfolk Showground.
All oil based plastic / polyester. Some collected by a homeless charity, but suspect many will be destined to go into landfill.

There has to be a better way than this?

This is a cropped image. I could have got closer, and was tempted, but that would have meant overflying the people on the ground, so a no-no.

Would be interesting to see how quickly they manage to clean that up.

There is a much better way.
Just buy stuff you want to take care about (and do so)

Well asuming they dont just have 2 lads doing it,  thats a lot of work.

Nicely documented.    Lots of clean up to be done.  Will be a shame if all those tents have to go into a landfill.

There was a large group, all working methodically in a line abreast...was partly the reason I couldn't get as close as I'd like...two industrial sized skips full from just rubbish bags though, before they started.

Hmm, tempted, but still no overflying of uninvolved people though? The sensor is a smaller one than on the Air 2 I think? For my images probably nothing to notice...

Mini 2 can overfly people just not crowds,  and crowds are really big.

Free to over fly, but what's the definition of a crowd, CAA wise?  Or is that left to the pilots judgment?

I always took crowd to be hundreds + of people.    Before the rules changed they had a question in the test about overflying a flower show,  and it was permitted to do that as the number of people wasn't a crowd.

Interesting, in my course, there was discussion about not overflying a Sunday league type football game because the handful of spectators could be deemed a crowd...

Ive also seen mentioned the ability for someone to move out the way could be a factor,  in a ground they may not have anywhere to go.

Indeed we do live in a disposable time.  

What a shame.  I was in New Orleans recently and would wake early for a walk and coffee.  The city streets would be fully of garbage from the night before.  I found it disgusting.

It is sad, this is a younger crowd too, one that will have to clear up the mess we've made so far...
