Hello guys,
I wonder if anyone could help me :

I have taken pics of that yoga-on-paddle class from my MM.

My issue is that the paddles ( they are actually blue ! ) reflect the sun light, maybe because of some varnish, thus spread light all around, meaning bodies look like the picture has an extremely low resolution. This is the kind of picture I had from the poor cameras I used when taking pics from a kite 20 years ago.

If I "darken" the pic then I am loosing the precious water transparency.
Picture is attached, video of same is here :

Any idea of better settings please ?

Thank you

The auto exposure is fooled here.
Lower the EV compensation to about -0.7 in these situations.

Thank you. Since aperture is fixed, I guess this new setting will increase shutter speed ?

Yes, that is what it will try.
Or lower the ISO (but that will be low on a bright day already)

Maybe some polarizing filter in order to limit glare and increase water transparency ?

Now to find a good polarizing filter for the Mavic Mini which would not be a toy is another matter... If anyone has tested one with good success ?

Polarizers will eliminate the reflection (or block some of it).
But the are very hard to dial in on a drone. (since you are not able to rotate them while in flight).
I had them for my Mavic Pro, but in practice never used them.

Most easy way is to lower the EV compensation.
Usually that will be enough.

Hello there. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. As posted above by Montfrooij kindly please try to lessen or lower the EV on the DJI Fly application for us to be able to isolate the said issue. Thank you.
