Good to see that the Mini 2 video is miles ahead of the Husban.

No doubt at all. The mini has both better natural colour and clarity for my liking.

I was surprised just how well the Mini2 did in comparison.  The husban seems to be garbage all round,  even the active track is poor.

I was surprised to, but very happy to see the Mini 2 preforming so well. I still feel that the DJI cameras performs very well and I am very please with the my Mavic 2 Pros camera. I am not an expert at all with photography or videos, but when the results pleases my eyes, that's what counts for me.

Im surprised that a brand like Hubsan keeps a float, their prices equal to DJI but their products are of aliexpress quality, why would anyone buy this pro for 500USD instead of mini2? [expect people that stuck with geofencing, but i found solutions for that for low fees it can be removed].
FIMI on ther hand, their cameras are good and people love them, but drones lack in ways like no obstacle detection, but their prices are ok [you can pre-order their next drone the SE 2022 now for like 400USD or something]
Me personally, i prefer DJI and Autel and thats it and i lean more towards autel due to lack of geofencing and supporting an underdog [who wants Intel like monopoly? No one], and to DJI on software side and 3rd party software and accessories side

Geofencing will come to Autel products with time as its becoming a legal requirement in some countries.

I agree with you 100%.  I don't have a need for the Cine version but may still take a long, hard look at the basic version.

For you, already having a M2P, and at the rumored prices it might not be enough to upgrade.  I see quite a few M2Ps listed for sale online now so it appears others are positioning to buy the upcoming M3.  For me as a recreational flyer I can't really justify moving up to the M3 but I sure want to, just not the Cine version.  If I was sure M2P batteries would be available for a few more years I would probably buy one of those being offered.  Most are in the $850-900 range.

If they can the M2 EA in the line up then I think batteries are going to be fine.

I'm sure that lifecycle document exists somewhere within the corporation but I'm also sure it is closely held.  I went yesterday and looked at one of the used M2Ps for sale.  The family said it had belonged to their son-in-law who was killed in Afghanistan and from what they remember he did not fly it much as he spent a lot of time deployed.  The drone and RC looked practically brand new.  Still contemplating if I want to go ahead and get that or what and see what price the base M3 is.  Maybe, I should just by both and be done buying drones for a while.

I agree with you re Husban,  but I think the M3 is a no go to for me in Europe if the leaks of the manual are correct. >900grams and no EU Classification pops it into the Legacy class which means you have to be 150m away from pretty much everything. even a beach.

I have seen a couple of rumours/specualtion that the EU model will have a smaller battery like the Mini2 in Japan,  but still without that classification its a no go for me,   not long before we find out for sure though.

Also the specs of the autel evo lite is promissing also the 820 grams and 4 axes gimbal .
So Dji must get also better specs with the next drones.
And also get better with firmware and apps.
