Dive party went fairly well.  The weather got a bit gusty and was churning up the waves on the 2nd day in the morning.  However, we did get in some interesting dives.  I took the Mini 2 with me but the wind was a bit much to fly.

Too bad the weather didn't allows for any drone shots but glad you enjoyed the dive trip

Yeah, I had the Mini 2 with me and batteries charged up but the gusty winds prohibited getting it airborne.

Well...it wasn't my dive party.  The owner of the plane is a dive nut and he invited 5 of us to go with him.  His plane is a 6 passenger plane so he maxxed out the dive gang.  

Sorry, I'll let him know that he should put you on his invite list for his next dive party.

I think his next dive trip is going to be to Bermuda.

No, I just like diving very, very, very, very slow and seeing all the macro.  Flamingo tongue, nudibranches.  That's why I'm curious about the macro lens on that action 2

Okay, that makes perfect sense then.  I was a bit bemused with the short Action 2 promo.  After a bit of researching it does have some good specs.  My main concern is the overheating issue reported after only 5 minutes or 9 minutes of use.  I also am trying to find out what, if any, restrictions there will be on using the "diver case" for the Action 2.  The waterproof case for the Osmo Pocket prohibited you from making function changes via the screen while in the case.

Me too!  Even with my GoPro, I really don't change functions while diving.  With the backscatter, I really don't need to.  I do film in 120fps more so, just because I capture a lot of still shots from my videos.  But I don't think the macro lens will fit on this thing while in the housing.
