Haha. Thanks Depp In fact, there was a double benefit. I had to sit there a while to get my breath back after the climb up the hill. So I sent the drone up on a reconnaisance mission while I rested

That's ME sat at the junction!  ;) SHMBO can't do the hill walks anymore, alas. We stick to the flatter paths along the river or the canal when we go out together.

Great shot Blériot.    At that spot I'd take a rest and then flip a coin to decide which way to go.  Beautiful countryside views whichever way you go.

Whenever I do this walk, that's generally my resting place. I love the views. If I'm out for a longer walk, it's a good spot for the picnic

It's just around the headland from Gatehouse of Fleet, at the entrance to the Bigwater of Fleet inlet.
As for diving, I couldn't say. It's not something I have any experience of.
