The newest version still has issues with the gimbal settings but everything else seems now to be working fine, I flew 3 batteries with no issues at all.

Yes, but 1420 seems to be the latest.

After all these issues, why on earth would you download a newer and more crappy version?

There are engineers sitting in a cubical at DJI who are laughing at your question because they know that American's will always install the newest version, of anything, even it they know that it's crap...as long as it's new.

I don’t fly with it, I’ve been downloading it to see if they have fixed the issues, which they haven’t, my preferred version is 1.4.2

hey, have you tried 1.4.8 (1185) before?  it seems to be stable for my last couple flights.  Everything seems to be working except i cant tell if the "auto transmission channel" is really because i dont see the white window moving on its own.

If you have tried, plz share what the issues you encountered or whats not working, Thx.

I flew 2 flights with the latest of the latest version with no issues of note, that's not to say there arent any, i just didn't check everything. I know the live streaming doesn't work unless you use "Restream" and even that isn't great, actually, from what I've seen of that site so far, its useless, i took a shot around the village, about 4 minutes of streaming, the end result is about 8 seconds with about 5 images in it

In the transmission tab, when we have it set to "DUAL BAND" and "AUTO", in the chart, are we supposed to see the "white window" (selected channel indicator) self adjusting automatically??  I have seen it moving when I was switching the bands in "MANUAL" mode, but never saw it moving in "AUTO" mode though, so I can't really tell if it is really working, adjusting channel automatically or not.

Please DJI roll back to the previous version 1.4.8 (1185) and make it stable.
In Italy many users are experiencing serious problems with the latest version 1.4.12 (1420) in particular with the use of the MINI2.
In all the forums and in all social networks we are recommending to go back until there is a stable version.

The main problem is that the battery indicator does not follow the real trend of the battery charge.
The drones land due to a low battery and the indicator shows non-compliant values.

This is the most serious aspect because it jeopardizes the safety of the overflown areas and the drone itself.

Then there are other secondary problems that have already been communicated to you here, such as the LEDs that do not work, the streaming that requires a lot of resources and that goes at times, the photos that are not saved on the smartphone, etc.

Please check the version again with a greater number of smartphones or let a smaller circle of people try it.
