I just got an Osmo mobile 3. I had an issue where the DJI Mimo app (on Android, Pixel 3aXL) would connect to the device, but not trigger the activation process, so the camera etc would load up but the device would not work. I googled for ages and tried connecting / reconnecting from the home screen ot the Mimo app, but whenever the app found the device it just connected without triggering activation.

After a bit of frustration, I disconnected and re-connected within the device section of the camera screen rather than the from the top of the home screen (so using the buttons at the top of the camera, with device management, device name etc). This time when it reconnected it triggered the activation process to allow the gimbal to work.

Appreciate this is a bit of a niche problem for an old device, but leaving this here in case anyone else is googling in frustration about this and wants something to try.
