I updated from the original Mavic Mini to the Mavic Air 2 about a year ago while waiting to see what the Mavic 3 would be.

I had hoped it would end up around $1,600 (USD) and was prepared to make the switch.

$2,200 is just too far out of my range and there's no real point updating my Mavic Air 2 to an Air 2S - it's not a significant enough upgrade to justify spending another $300.

I'm not complaining - I'm just letting DJI know where I'm at as a consumer.

My main wish was for the 360° obstacle avoidance and the 46 minute flight of the Mavic 3.

If DJI came out with an extra capacity battery for the Air 2 (and Air 2S) that gave us 45 minutes - that's an add-on that I would definitely purchase.  I don't need it to be aerodynamic - I tend to stay in tripod mode taking lots of photos and videos.

Please keep updating the firmware for the Mavic Air 2 - obstacle avoidance is my highest priority.

Im holding out for the Mini3.   

Would love to buy the Mavic 3 but the release date price is a showstopper, especially with all the missing functions that are promised in a future firmware update.  

Going to keep using my MA2.
