I'm coming from a Phantom 3 which had pretty whimpy saftey stuff.

My Mavic 3 arrived today.

If someone could answer these questions it would help me get up to speed quick..  .

* I Live near a few miles from a minor airport and I have the B4UFly app on my phone.  My question is does the Mavic 3 take care of getting authirozation by itself?  Does it know I'm authoized?  Do i need to tell it somewhere?  I'm allow to fly near me but there's a 400' restriction.

* I'd like to fly at night in things like parking lots or open fields.  My Mavic is locking me down to about 10 feet off the ground.   How do I limit this restriction without having to take the full blown 107 Test?  Is there a legit way?

* I see a Licenses section - what do i need that for?  

* How and why would i need to unlock a geo-zone?

Thanks.  I want to fly safely -- I just dont' have an orientation with these things.

1>. You need to get LAANC authorisation yourself in another app.

2>. Sounds like you are either in beginner mode or not logged into the app yet.
