Thanks Peter, but did you notice the imperfections?
I am abput 80% satisfied with the actual sphere - I am on 1.4.12.
When I was on 1.4.4 I think my spheres were closer to perfect.

Yes, some stitching errors. Could also be because it is quite dark.
But it is strange.

Physically No. Photographically it looks like it. Bad stitch like last time - must be a problem with V1.2.4

That is the latest one that includes the live streaming or something?
I feel it is like the Rocky series of movies, every time they add a new product on the same fly app there is more chance of something else going wrong - if it isnt the black screen issue then it is the skew horison or the compass or something.  I dont need extra added bells and whistles - I dont need live streaming and the like.
I have it that 1.4.4 is the most stable - I dont need to be up there somewhere with noclue as to where the drone is and fly by the seat of my pants like what happened with the black screen issue on two occasions, specially in a narrow ravine or among trees etc.

Hmmm! maybe I should have gone for 1.5.0 before my flight that came to a sticky end involving the funeral of a large number of angry bees - oh well, so much for bug fixes.

I dont quite know -I was flying merilly when  I noted these things obsuring the view repeatedly. Pulled the drone back closer to me and saw it was being attacked by these bees. Tried to fly away from them without success, landed and they went away but what a sticky mess - after three later flights I still get bugjuice coming out

Ja, I feel for them - they are essential for pollination - no bees no plants.

That is why I landed as soon as I could, to avoid further destruction - besides I am very allegic to their stings - had too many on the bike, so I just prefer to let them be.

It raises an interesting question about how high can bees fly.

Essentially you get three main classes of bee

1. Astrobee - can fly as high as the moon
2. Cosmobee - the Russian variant - can only fly into orbit
3. Ordinary bee - yet to be determined how high, but if spiders  can be found in the stratosphere and they dont even have wings - the mind boggles.
