Hi everyone,

A little flight above this monument, really from "out of space" in the middle of nowhere ...   

Pretty unknown if you don't live or have visited Bulgaria ...  


Regardless of the political message behind it, there are many aspects of it that makes it worth being restored.

This location has been filmed before on this forum, but not in such harsh weather conditions. It looks even more foreboding and neglected.  Well done.

Yes, indeed - When I went there, I had in mind the different videos I had already seen - But when I saw the clouds, near turned back ...

But after finally launching the drone, I could see how to take advantage of the weather situation ...

It seems indeed to be a weird location far from everything but it is in Bulgarian history a logical place since not far away from the place where the Ottomans were defeated by the Russians, liberating then the Bulgarians from 500 year of Occupation.

There are the on-going restoration going on since 2 years, but mainly inside  (private funding) - It isn't tomorrow that it will be re-opened to the public.

I was watching a Movie the other day (Mechanic: Resurrection), where they have included the monument you show. And in that Movie, the monument was suddenly moved to just coast near the City Varna.
So it was funny to see, how creative filmmakers are!
