I just got my first Air2S, and noticed its operating range is 0C to 40C.As in Southern Ontario we won't have decent +0C until March.
Air2 shows operating range is -10C to 40C.

I'm curious why Air2S has narrower range than Air2, isn't Air2S an upgrade to Air2?

I have seen videos Air2S flying in cold, maybe US has different regulation and the Air2S is able to fly a bit out of its temperature rating.

I have flown my Air2s in -10C with no adverse issues. I feel your pain its currently -23C with a wind chill of -32C. My fleet is grounded until end of March also. Alberta winters are long and cold.

Go to Youtube and watch some of Jake Sloan's videos. He lives in and shoots mostly in Alaska.

Make sure your batteries are warm before you start the flight and you should be fine,   (warm. not hot thought 10c or so is fine)

Hi, Just to be safe, follow the manufacturers specifications and you should not get in to trouble. That's what I do.
