I know its only been about a week or two but.. Would anyone be interested in sharing their experiences flying the Air2s with the RC Pro Smart Controller?

Sure I have not even been able to fly it out of the box like it states.  Spent 5 hours searching the issue and have been on hold an 1.5 hour with tech.

Wow.  Sorry to hear that. As far as I can tell B&H is the only distributor who’s selling the Air2s/RCPro combo and it’s sold out. For it to not work out of the box is a concern

Hi, did you get this sorted as I have had no issues with mine & also linking to my other AIR 2S although not yet been able to test fly due to weather?

Same here, a little different getting used to the sticks as they are different than the stock controller or the older smart controller. That being said I just got the air2s and controller together and the drone itself flies very different than my mini2 so it may be more that than the other.

Its been raining so haven't had much time but first few flights went great, no issues what so ever.

Has the firmware been updated on the rc pro so we can flash are bought separately controller.  Would like to try it on the air 2s

Received my Air 2S FMC yesterday from Amazon with the RC Pro. I charged the batteries, turned on the RC, let it update and played with a few settings while the batteries charged. Fired up the 2S, it connected immediately and updated its firmware. Set it up the same as my Miini 2. While we had a break in the rain, I flew it around to get accustomed to it. It sure is different from the Mini 2. The RC Pro is GREAT!!! MUCH better than the standard controller.

This doesn’t add up to me, it works in the combo package but not in the if you buy the controller by itself.   What up with that!

Welcome to the RC Pro disfunctional family! Although the hardware is the same, there are currently 2 different firmwares that DJI puts on the RC Pro depending on how it's sold:
for Air 2S in the combo package: 03.00.0008
for Mavic 3 as a standalone purchase: 01.00.0400
And DJI does not provide a way to switch them if needed currently. They could and should, but don't. As has been mentioned numerous times, DJI has stated that they are working on a new firmware that will fix this.

Found out the issue was my router firewall would not allow the remote to connect to the internet.  Once I connected to my phone hot spot everything ran beautifully..
