Is this actually available anywhere?  Many who are interested in the Ronin 4D are planning to use Sony E mount lenses with it.  I for one wouldn't buy a 4D without this adapter as I only have Sony lenses.

Yeah nice and all that but can't find it anywhere yet. Even the native lenses are impossible to get in the Netherlands.
Here i am now, with the Ronin 4D on my desk and no lenses yet..  

The Update does not work. I tried it on multiple windows devices.
Every time I press "SCAN" the Mali Mount Upgrade Tool stops working. I hope you will fix it asap!
As well it would be great to have a solution for all the mac users.

That happened when I first tried it.  I then tried opening the upgrade tool as administrator by right clicking the icon and the pick the administrator option when launching it.  Then it worked fine.

I have a batis 25/2 lens and a FE 50MM f1.8 it doesn't seem like any of the electronics are working I can't use the iris  or focus. I installed the latest firmware on the emount. what am i doing wrong.

I updated the firmware and now none of my lenses work

You find a solution

Sony fe 50mm f1.8 won't calibrate Ronin 4d.

All my other lenses calibrated nicely.

This one just keeps back focusing...and not a small amount.

Any ideas?

PS...my cat is the worst.

Same here, but not only with the 50mm f1,8, There is always some back focus for me, for all the lenses. But sometime it's barely noticeable, sometime it's obvious and non usable.

But more I test the autocalibrate function, the more I think its kind of random result (with the same lense attached, I can have very different results).

Any idea of when it will be available? It's really frustrating to have the Ronin 4D and being able to use it because of such a simple piece of gear as a lens adapter.

I've tried the autofocus and manual on the 55mm f1.8 Ziess lens, and the same thing is happening also.  The auto focussing sometimes off, even for points which were calibrated specifically using the manual method.. I hope they can fix it, as it seems unreliable at the moment.

There are some out there, although it looks like the are rare.  I got mine from CVP in the UK and it was more luck than anything else as I don't think they have it anymore.

I am a user who has bought the Ronin 4D, right now it is a vase on my table, bad service, they do not have lenses available and they do not have frames available. So I wonder why the hell do they put a product on sale if users are not going to be able to use them. very bad forecast, frankly disappointed with all this.

the e-mount adapter does not come from DJI, but according to various information
from viltrox (known for their crappy speedbooster) and has no license from sony.

Screw the front cap into the mount then try. I had the same issue and this worked for me

Got an e-mount yesterday from CVP. Was showing stock.

Got one from cvp didn’t update firmware and used it with a sony 50 1.4 works good for me. Had the same problem not getting lenses ordered a set of dl lenses from dji these work like a charm but 2.8 and have a lot of good sony glass. Mine was a vase too but i bought a laowa lens 9mm just to use the ronin 4d its a nice lens to try and has a dl (dji mount) which you can use in super35mm its about 600 euro’s. In the mean while the adapter (m and e mount) are in and the dl lenses. Will trie a couple of lenses but the dl’s aren’t bad and very small. Too bad the raw is removed BRaw would be very nice.

I have the same problem with the autofocus focussing to far. Tried multiple Sony E mount lenses (Zeiss 55mm E mount and sony GM 1.2 E Mount), updated the E mount to the newest firmware, updated the Ronin. Focus seems to work fine in the up to 3-4 meters, after that it doesn't focus properly always a bit to far.And indeed the same problem that after you auto calibrate everytime the result is a bit different. Sometimes it's pretty good, still off, sometimes something at 10m distance it totally not in focus. Really seems a software issue.

For now autofocus it really not useable, i really hope DJI improves this soon, as the lidar is one of the selling points!

Same here with a Sigma 28-70, but worst of that : if you change from 50 to 28, and come back to 50 the calibration is gone and don't work again.

I also tried with the Samyang 45mm and it doesn't work. But I think you can try use it with the motor as a manual focus lense.

Hey bit of an update.

I deleted all the auto calibrations for my Emount lens.

I did the manual lens calibration for all of them and they are working perfectly now.

So clearly the auto firmware update for Emount lenses wasn't working the way it's supposed to.

Sony fe 50mm f1.8 works great for me. Fast focus. Quite a bit of vignette wide open.

For MAC USERS - I just installed windows 10 using boot camp on an old macbook air - i was able to install the emount upgarde.  It's kindof a hassle, but seems like it's gonna be easier to have access to windows for other ronin 4d firmware updates.

I'm totaly not happy with the E-Mount. Bought it at B&H New York. I have focus problems all over the place. I don't know if I have a Mali Mount or else. So I don't know if that firmware update is any good for my mount. I use the Sonys 14mm 1.8, 24mm Master 1.4, 35mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8 and the 85mm 1.8. The G-Master is working the worst by far although it is the most expensive and best lens in the bunch.
DJI must make an update quickly. This is so bad that I'm thinking about selling my 4D. We can't use it on pro shoots like that. Other than that the Ronin 4D is great but this stuff has to be fixed asap...
