A friend of mine recently gave me his phantom 2.
Since the original controller doesnt have battery indicator,
I've bought vision 2 + controller.

I havent tried it yet, because it didnt arrived.

So my question is Are they compatible ?

Nope.  A P2V+ controller won't work with a straight Phantom 2.  They are different frequencies.

If you're a little confused and actually don't have a straight Phantom 2 but instead have a Phantom 2 Vision or P2V+, then you're fine.

It's straight phantom 2. I've check the frequency's they are operating on different.
Mine i s operating on 2.4 and the vision + on 5 ghz.

Your remote controller will work for a Phantom 2 Vision series drone.  Are you sure you have a Phantom 2 Vision series drone?
