Can anyone confirm if they are having the same issues with obstacle avoidance they previously had in the new firmware?

The aircraft slowing down while flying with no apparent obstacles in the way. Having to use brake instead of bypass because of erratic flying with obstacle avoidance on because of phantom objects detected. I know a lot of people switched obstacle avoidance to brake for these issues because it made flying with bypass on not really possible

One of the first things I intend to test (when I have opportunity) is OA/Bypass behavior.  Suren has tested already and reports positively on OA/Bypass behavior.  No climbing and not erratic (his report).

It has been reported to be improved, but I would imagine this will be a work in progress up to AT 6, the fact that you can change makes it acceptable and when walking through the forest if that’s your thing turn on bypass and enjoy the walk with your heart in your mouth

I have same issues as before firmware update over snow:
*Increases in altitude over snow in bypass without user input or obstacles.
*In brake over snow holds altitude but flies goofy,

OA off over snow holds altitude fine and flies fine.

How do you mean OA holds fine over snow ?

Exactly the same observations for me over snow. And by flying "goofy" I can add that in "N" & "S" modes it will pull to the left out of nowhere with stick due north. "C" mode in brake works normal.

In 0500 firmware they have made some fixes to the active track.

1. You can now select the distance between You and the drone and if You set it farther away from You than before then has a wider field of view so it is more difficult to lose You.
2. You can go even further using the 2x zoom option.
3. At least at small speeds of 9 to 10 m/s the obstacle avoidance can detect even small branches or power cables.
4. Youn use dlog now


Maybe they have changed something else too but it is not so obvious up to now
