Please enjoy this video about 3 monasteries in Germany : 1 Limburg Monastery (after the collapse often also Limburg Monastery ruins, once abbey "Zum Heilgen Kreuz" or Limburg an der Haardt Monastery) is a former Benedictine abbey that existed from the 11th century until the Reformation. It is located on the eastern edge of the Palatinate Forest on the boundary of the Rhineland-Palatinate district town of Bad Dürkheim .
2 The Abbey of St Hildegard, is situated above Rüdesheim and the Rhine river. Some think it is a Romanesque building, but it was only built at the beginning of the 20th century. .
3 Seligenstadt’s former Benedictine abbey is unusual in several respects. It’s almost completely preserved, and the heights of its prosperity took place almost an entire millenium apart. The monastery garden dates back to the abbey’s foundation by Einhard, the biographer of Charlemagne, and the complex was later rebuilt in the baroque style. The monastery complex is located on the banks of the Main.
