Any ideas why it cash SD vido  footage to my android  tablet now? HD photos show up fine  

1.6.0 will probably be released tomorrow in order to fix the bugs that are in today's version 1.5.9

thank you its not arrived here yet, but its pretty normal to have this. Maybe the GPS issue will be sorted although I’m not experiencing this. Good job

I think it does not matter how many bugs fixed now. It is more important how many bugs were added.

I believe MBSL500 is making a joke about patching the patch since 1.5.8 and 1.5.9 came out a day apart.

Have you looked at this guy's channel?  About 75% of his videos are about DJI Fly problems.  He doesn't have a channel if he doesn't have some Fly drama.  I'd take him with a grain of salt.

I have only had my mini 2 a few weeks but many many years experience in photography and video including an array of gimbals, a few issues so far, my firmware was a weird version higher than everybody else’s, downgraded and all good. But on the new app I noticed a few issues today on iOS, when a rotate the gimbal down it just kept moving after I release the wheel. I assumed it may be the advanced settings I had changed last trip out but no, all default values, problem was a lot worse in cine mode. Had a few warnings very briefly display that i basically missed on screen.

Not really. I get a bunch of random drone videos in my YouTube feed and this one caught my eye. There are a LOT of YouTube drone channels nowadays, it's difficult to separate the chaff from the wheat. Thanks for the heads-up.

Wow, another round of "Fixed some bugs"
Hopefully they really fix everything before the Chinese New Year holiday break.
Otherwise we need to wait until March.

And a new round of messing up the FlyApp.
As everything is running smooth for me with 1.5.4 build 1390 i will stay with it and wait for the next really stable version
maybe one of the coming updated 3-5 versions.

Wow, people are always so positive about firmware updates and app updates around here! I feel bad for DJI that when they release things they get so much hate. I'm a member of a number of other forums and when there are firmware updates people are excited and thank the vendor for their dedication to continued improvement. Sure, there are times things don't go 100% but it is not like a software engineer is designing the code/fix laughing to himself how he has programed this release to mess something else up.

Though I tend to agree with your statement, the thing is, when these firmware updates come about, it seems like they mess up something else that was working well before.

People come out here and complain, and, I venture guess, many who do, don't take the time to actually ensure their settings haven't been changed by the update, as it is often the case.

In my case, I take care to go over very setting there is to make sure they are where I wanted them to be.
I also go out fly my drone and test it where it was faulty before and see if the newer fw update, improved it.

I'm in the camp of those that immediately / eyes-closed, download the newest FW.
Call me a sucker but, I do place a lot of faith in them.

If after a new FW download my drone flies away, never to be found, I can always blame DJI and get a new drone... :S

Fully agree, simple patience goes a long way in these situations.

HELP! Air 2S and RC Pro here. When I turn on the RC and AC I'm not seeing an update from my 1.5.8 when I start FLY. Normally I would see a request to update???

Fix bugs from the bugs.

Spoke to DJI. This update is a BETA version for addressing some incompatible phone issues. No other "bugs" fixed to do with AC or controller. That is why it isn't coming up on Fly initially.

Uhm, I think I wait till the end of Chinese New Year festivities and more feedback before updating the update.
In my experience such urgent patches are the worst (telling from vast experience of producing such urgent patches myself ;))

I always found when I use to program industrial robots that the "Bug" was always my error. I may have fixed one issue but not knowing,,,,,,, caused a bug in the background that showed itself at the least appropriate time. Test, test and test some more I say. This is why I ask before I DL new FW.......

Wasn't wrong was I though especially since 1.5.9 came out immediately after which fixed the Android 11 compatibility issue, I also made this video that has helped thousands whom are not so tech savvy fly their drone again, sure, grain of salt and all that
