I'm working on sphere images, and a rare sunny January day gave me a terrific opportunity.  This one shows downtown Olympia from above a few buildings that burned spectacularly in December.

Fantastic detail.

Right, we sometimes have clear days during the winter but don't be fooled by the sun, it's ~28° F in this shot.

We occasionally have these clear winter days with high atmospheric pressure, but it's still below 30° F in this shot.

It remains (technically) active, leading to the Port of Olympia but rarely sees traffic. Most material that is shipped from here is raw logs or containerized stuff, coming by truck. I had not even noticed that in the image, of course you would have an interest. There are places where I could get a better image with more detail nearer the port facility.

Which is a shame, those log cars look really nice.
