Hello, I have a Mavic Air 2 and before I had a REMOTE ID UUID Option on my DJI RC smart controller and now the option to view and find it seems to be gone. I have the Remote ID # from previous versions but is that sufficient enough for the FAA compliance? It shows up on the Mavic 3 CINE with the RC PRO Smart Controller though? I have my part 107 and now I'm really confused. Am I going to have to buy add on modules for either drones or what? And I see Aeroscope on the Mavic 3 but not that Mavic Air 2 anymore but is that the same thing as Remote ID?

No one yet knows what the FAA compliance is going to be yet.The remote iD in the fly app option that was there is an entirely different matter

Aeroscope has nothing to do with the Mavic series of aircraft. It is a seperate product, not normally sold to the public for detecting and tracking DJI aircraft. It is intended for law-enforcement organisations.

DJI Aeroscope will always detect your drone in 50km radius. It is always active unless disabled with some firmware hacks or something similar.
Remote ID isn't introduced, but it is something different, the difference is that it is public, something like flightradar24 for plances.
I guess that Remote ID will use the wifi frequencies (occusync freqs') to work, but it is still not clear.

Remote ID on the Mavic Air 2 is now available as a Firmware Update.  
If using DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) need Version V2.1.20

So why after I just updated the P4P firmware I get an Aeroscope menu?
