Keeps connecting and disconnecting with Macbook

Love the Action 2. Small problem though. When attached to my macbook, the Action 2 keeps connecting / disconnecting / connecting / disconnecting / etc. Making it impossible to transfer files from camera to macbook, with the cable.
My only option is to take the micro sd card out of the camera and transfer the files by sticking the card directly into the macbook.

Is there any sollution for this connection-reluctance of the Action 2?

And yes, I've installed the latest firmware.

Im also running latest firmware, and have no such issue with my Action 2 2hen connected to my MacBook....

I have had a drive continually disconnect/reconnect with a previous MacBook though, and that went in for a mainboard replacement under AppleCare......

Hello there. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Kindly please try using a different USB cable to see if the said issue will still persist or try using a different PC as well for us to be able to isolate the said issue? Thank you.

I have exactly the same issue: connecting / disconnecting. I've used the original cable, tried others as well. No results. It's frustrating, I can't extract files from my camera. Even worse ... when trying to export files from internal storage to card, they were all lost in the process. Please help me to 'stabilize' the connection between camera and Mac.
