Does anyone KNOW if the DJI ACTION 2 will actually CHARGE itself while in WEBCAM MODE?

Im on a MAC BOOK PRO and (while MAC users are waiting for the "Webcam not showing up bug" fix) I will be using the
WEBCAM MODE (once it works on a Mac) for MULTIPLE LONG INTERVIEW SESSIONS and need to know if there is actual CHARGING going on
while in WEBCAM MODE or will I have to somehow rig up a USB-C Splitter to attach an external power battery bank, while in webcam mode on a MAC. (If such a thing can be done)

PC will provide 5V 500mA charging to Action2 , if the usb port/hub u use follow the standard.

the 2.5W charging would support long interview session.
